There are some comics, especially in the CvB series, that I would like to remaster.

When I first released the initial version of this comic, I didn't really explain much. I was relying on the reader to go back and read the account. I want to draw attention to some items in the account.

Peter states he never has eaten anything unclean or common. People seem to focus just on the unclean part, but the sheet was filled with all kinds of animals: clean and unclean. The problem wasn't that the sheet was just filled with unclean animals and Peter didn't have anything to choose from that was clean. The problem was Peter's perception of the clean animals in the sheet: he saw them now as unfit to eat, or common as he calls it.

This parallels with Peter's interpretation of the vision: YHWH was telling Peter that Jews could meet with people of the nations. They were not making themselves less by doing so.

Acts 10:28 - He said to them: “You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile. But God has shown me that I should not call anyone impure or unclean.

Those unfamiliar with the Law of Moses assume this is some law in that. This is NOT the case. This was a tradition of the Jews at the time that they held on par with the Law of Moses and called laws as well. We see in Mark 7, Yeshua/Jesus confronting the Pharisees about these traditions.

Another witness to the fact that this dream is YHWH redirecting Peter on these traditions is in Galatians 2 where we have a confrontation between Peter and Paul over this very thing! I did a comic about that account here: https:// thestraightandnarrow.cfw.me/comics/pl/1123412/

Here we have Peter, years after the resurrection of Yeshua, still not eating things that are unclean, because those things were never considered food. He also argues with YHWH about it. I'd say Peter felt very strongly about the subject. If he was wrong on it, wouldn't you think he would write or say something to show his new understanding? Just like he did in this chapter with being able to meet with Gentiles?
