Have a question and wants to know what you guys think.

I see many people getting baptised and it is all over social media. But my question is this: "Why is people baptised backwards instead of just going down on your knees in the water?" What is the difference? Then last question: "Why do people need to impress or get approval from others about their baptisms? Is it not something between you and Elohiym?"

can't answer, got baptised as baby (doesn't count to me) and just hope they didn't dunk me headfirst.
MY issue is why do the baptisers (the ones i met anyway, and in my case all wannabe baptisers) insist on subsequent obedience from baptisee to baptiser?

The baptist way of immersing (by a fake laying down and rising up from the water like you were laying in bed) is "symbolic" of one dying to their sins and rising cleansed. The way it was probably done in ancient times is by squatting with the immerser supervising that you went completely under, like jews do in mikvahs.
