Three of the Gospels say that #yeshua's disciples "prepared the Passover". I don't see any reasonable way to interpret this phrase except that they killed and cooked a #passover.

I don’t either. But people really really really want Yeshua to be crucified right at the moment the Passover lambs were sacrificed.

In my research, the conjunction in 30 c.e. that preceded the last supper was 14 days beforehand. However, the sliver was 13 days beforehand. I believe Yeshua & His disciples kept the calendar according to the conjunction, while the rest of Israel kept the babylonian (sighted sliver) calendar. I also believe the appearamce of Spica at moonrise that night was the signal to "cut off" the first fruits, much as Yeshua was cut off, also being the firstfruit. I think the other year the conjunction worked out this way was 33 c.e. The reason I don't believe this was the correct year is 1) Yeshua would have been a little older than the traditional starting age of a rabbi, and 2) Spica did not rise in close proximity to the moon that year. Spica is the bright star in the left hand of Virgo, which starts the story of redemption in the constellations.
