At the end of three days the officers went through the camp...
Joshua 3:2
The Hebrews traveled for 3 days before crossing the red sea.
Three days after the Red Sea crossing, Moses transformed the bitter waters.
Joshua's spies hid in the hills for 3 days before returning to camp.
The Hebrews traveled 3 days from Shittim before crossing the Jordan.
It's almost like God is trying to say something about being restored to life after 3 days in the shadow of death. Hmm...

in occurrences of three, often one can notice the first has to do with an initial joyous outburst, the second with a depressing thud back to earth, and the third with an inspired determination... to reach that fourth.
at other times, from another angle, the adversary has power in the first two occurrences and influence in the third... but absolutely never any access in any way to that fourth.
for an example of the first, i have a book that translates the meaning of all names, people places etc in the Word, using that and looking at those many lists of names all over the place, you see this coming back frequently. and it lies under much of the Book's storyline.
for an example of the second, the scoffer, the wicked and the fool of proverbs fall smack bang into that.
i realise this is cryptic, it's intended for pondering.
