Thought for Today: Tuesday March 18
The key to understand tragedy, is to understand its source… When Adam and Eve sinned, it was a blatant, open act of rebellion – in thought, in word and in deed – against YHVH, their Creator Who supplied their every need. Every graveyard, hospital, prison and courtroom are witnesses to the terrible legacy of that rebellion. No, I don’t think anyone will fully understand why YHVH allows evil to happen. But evil happens because we live in a fallen evil world. Thus, never underestimate the devastating effects of sin. We as believers can overcome this sin because our Moshiach has paved the way for us on Golgotha to be victorious.

I see it in the same way that the legal system deals with young children who don't know what they are doing and what the repercussions would be. I'm thinking along the lines of toddlers for this example.
What if one of these children caused the death of another child (their baby sibling) while trying to do something good for them? Is it then murder or an accident?
If Adam and Eve didn't understand the difference between good and evil, should we then judge them with our, post fact, understanding of good and evil? ?

love you both too, btw. as much as we can based on what we see of each other online and as fellow children and just as fellow people.
here;s my thing.
why do we always look at us failing, falling, sinning, as something that was not in the first place intentional?
why i ask that is because of a very simple point.
Father made us. He always knows exactly what He's doing. nothing goes wrong with His plan. nothing CAN go wrong, it's called omnipotence.
now, regarding consequence, my era was of the sjambok, and the rod.
you did wrong, you felt the result.
still in two minds about the current enlightenment, sparing the rod always looks like refusing to educate, but with a bit of thought, words can be chosen to achieve the effect. nothing hurt me more than my father telling me 'i''m disappointed in you, son.' and no further consequence.
it made me feel abandoned.
(no consequence? nobody cares...killed me.)
it's actually quite funny. when my mom was upset about me, she'd say, wait till your father comes home. he'd come home, hear the story, and reluctantly take off his belt and go, sorry son, this is for your good.
i saw and felt justice in action. never an issue.
for younger readers, for edification on the upside of the old days.
just jawing about foregone times, so, we were made to fail.
and now comes the test.
who wants to stop failing?
and this is bigger than us. creation is watching.
we, who were made to fail, are given the choice to return to obedience.
i'm saying, scripture is saying, creation is holding it's breath.
