This little snail found a good place to get out of the rain.

I have mixed feelings... On the one side I am glad for the snail, on the other I am glad it's not hiding in my garden. 😶

Deer are my main problem. They have so many yards to graze in & the woods to hide in. Fortunately, Sunchokes love to be chewed down. Im trying to let some wild edibles grow, too, like yellow wood sorrel. Last year I had volunter mints from dirt I had saved after the plants all dried up without much production. I moved them about a month ago because the container had broken down, so we'll see if they are happy with a little more sun. The squirrels stole my volunteer potato plant!
