Do not be arrogant toward the branches [of natural Israel]. If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you.
Romans 11:18 ESV
Never look down on the native branches, even in their unfaithfulness. They remain chosen for a purpose, and God is eagerly awaiting their repentance so that he may restore them to the tree.
Without God’s faithfulness to the patriarchs of Israel, we would have no hope. The New Covenant that brings ultimate forgiveness and eternal salvation was only given to the houses of Israel and Judah. There is no Gentile people--no non-Israelite “church”--included.

What??? 🤯
So, being grafted in means that people will accept it if your DNA doesn't show any Hebrew roots in the first generation, but don't let your descendants be raised asif they are now native and claim to be Israel as the expectation is that their DNA must at that time also show that they have Hebrew genes.
If the nation grows by people being grafted in, at what point do we just accept that a minority of the people claiming to be Israel will be genetically Hebrews and the rest isn't?
Also, does it make their claim weaker if they are grafted in generations ago or can they still claim the promises?
We just need to be careful in answering this as if they have no claim then we also limit ourselves to having no claim as being grafted in makes no difference in how many generations ago it happened.
Hey, I'm just thinking out loud again...😉
