Do you worship the LORD God? Then you are either calling on a false entity foreign to the Bible or you are calling on the True One by a false name.

The Bible tells you to worship YHWH Elohim. And that comes with commandments, and elaborate details on what worship He will accept.

What does the worship of the LORD God look like? - Eating perversions, celebration pagan holidays, shunning what the Bible says to do and shaming all who try to obey the Book.

What does the worship of YHWH Elohim look like? - Eating only what YHWH says is cleaning and avoiding what He calls abomination, celebrating His Sabbath and His holy days on the days and at the times He set, shunning all pagan tradition and perverse doctrine, while doing so from a pure heart of love for Him and our fellows.

We can pray to someone called LORD God, and sing songs to him. And raise up our hands and say Amen. We can go to church and put money in the collection plate. We can even be friendly and kind to others, but none of that is what the Bible calls acceptable worship.

If we are to embrace abominations and engage in evils and rename them grace then we are not doing biblically acceptable worship…

YHWH said that He wants to be acknowledged as holy by all who approach Him. That doesn’t involve us choosing what worship we can bring and when, where and how we would prefer. That doesn’t involve telling Him His Name doesn’t and shouldn’t matter to Him or to anyone of us.

And that does not allow us to adopt alternate terminology and contrary forms of righteousness when we come before Him or to throw Him out, insert into the Text some new entity with no requirements and decide we’ve made no difference.

Take caution in your tradition and terminology, and in your toleration for the familiar. Everything is worship of some kind and of some one…but is it the right kind and the right Someone?
