And is this a copy/paste of the verse or did you retype it? I am interested in the part that says "God and the Father"... I might have to dig into the Greek for this.

The Hebrew word for orphan יָתוֹם YATHOM
means fatherless is first mentioned together with widow in Exodus 22. Interestingly enough, the punishment for afflicting a widow or orphan is your wife and children becoming them:
‘Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child. If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry; and my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.’
- Exodus 22:22-24 KJV
That might give us a clue to what the spiritual meaning is. Thinking out loud: those who are without God the FATHER should not be looked down on or be dealt with harshly by us. For this is what the law is:
‘Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.’ - Matthew 22:37-40 KJV
If we depart from the law that is written in our hearts, we lose connection with the father and become orphaned. As a man is head of the family he will in that case therewith orphan his children and widow his wife in the spiritual realm.
Again, I’m thinking out loud.
