I've had people try to convince me the shot was the mark of the beast precisely as he was recounting. My own assembly split over this because the other side were calling the medical community murderers repeatedly. The conspiracy theories were so bad one of ours even got carted off from his house in a padded ambulance.
It's a shame this went so far as to cause a man to commit suicide (assuming this really happened). However, I've come to realize that some in our movement are pure in heart and searching for truth. But there are quite a few who are only in this because it's counter-cultural. It's just the next different thing and blended in with conspiracies to the point of being homogenous. YouTube's algorithym often can't tell the difference between a Messianic teaching and a flat earth video, recommending each to each viewer. I know of an assembly that has a sign on their door that you cannot fellowship with them if you have taken the shot. I am not kidding.
From my own 25 years in the movement, I read the young man's comments and have to cosign. He doesn't seem to be painting with a broad brush but addressing some of the same bad teachings I have experienced first hand.

those who cause things like this guy committing suicide will face their Maker.
far better to show those inclined to listen to men that they shouldn't.
now this guy has gone to sleep, in despair, following a misguided teaching.
consider how the conversation could go, when he has to account for himself.
it all depends on what exactly was going through his mind, what the impulses of his heart were that drove him to it.

point i'm making, names have power, and can you see these verses are showing we actually don't know the real names, even of ourselves, yet.
