Even the appearance of favoritism in justice is discouraged in #torah. Nobody is above God's Law, and the ends never justify unrighteous means. "Justice, and only justice, you shall follow." And Judges may not consider the consequences of a just verdict. Men, women, children, slaves, citizens, and foreigners all have equal standing in a court that is governed by God's Law. There is one torah for king, commoner, native-born, grafted in, rich, poor, and foreigner.
