A commonly referred verse is Isaiah 7:14, “Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call Him Immanuel.” Christians consider this to be a sign of the messiah, however the word translated as virgin is not specific and is defined originally as a young woman. Also the child is described as needing to learn the difference between good and evil and the questions should be asked if that is something the real messiah would need to learn. Another problem would be that before the boy learns the difference which indicates while he is very young the land of two kings would be laid to waste.
