It’s with great sadness that I need to share some difficult news. Due to diminishing funding and a steadily declining number of active members, we’ve reached a point where it’s no longer possible to keep the TTN platforms running.
Another challenge has been TTN’s open-platform nature. Because all subjects are allowed—such as polygamy and other sensitive topics—some people prefer not to be associated with the site. The only way to overcome this would be to rewrite the T&Cs and restrict who can join or what can be discussed… but doing so goes completely against the original vision of TTN as an open, community-led space.
In other words, I’m damned if I do, and damned if I don’t.
The only real way forward would be to re-focus and rebuild the platform, but that requires time, energy, and funding that I no longer have. So unless someone steps forward to take over TTN, the site will unfortunately be shut down. It’s a real shame, but I’m personally out of steam and simply cannot carry it on alone.
TTN will close on Friday, 13 December 2025 at 12:00pm BST (7:00am EST on 12 December 2025) if no takeover occurs.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported TTN over the past 4.5 years. People like Nick have published a post every day since he first joined in 2021 except when he was taken up in the hospital. Thanks Nick Liebenberg I really appreciate your posts and financial support to date.❤️
Please take time over the coming weeks to connect with those you've met here and arrange alternative ways to stay in touch.
If anything changes or someone steps forward, I will update everyone immediately.

I hope you can find some other solution before the deadline, but if not, you built a neat place that was an option for people who are believers. Not getting support in that is, unfortunately, common.

A loving friend works hard all day at the office or at home or to keep a true social media site updated. Do we bother to say thanks? Think about how often in a day someone does something for you, however small. How often do you say thanks? Now think about how often YHVH helps you in a day. Think about how much YHVH has given you. How often do you say thanks to Him? Thanksgiving is a celebration of the giver and the gift. Celebrate often!
WE SHOULD ALWAYS BE EXPRESSING THANKFULNESS.
“David appointed the following Levites to lead the people in worship before the Ark of Adonai by asking for his blessings and giving thanks and praise to Adonai, the YHVH of Israel.” {1 Chronicles 16:4} Certain Levites were appointed to give continual praise and thanks to YHVH. Praise and thanksgiving should be a regular part of our routine, not reserved only for celebrations. Praise YHVH continually, and you will find that you won’t take his blessings for granted.
THERE ARE FOUR SIGNIFICANT ASPECTS OF THANKFULNESS.
Four elements of true thanksgiving are found in this song {psalm}:
1 -- remembering what YHVH has done
2 -- telling others about it
3 -- showing YHVH’s glory to others, and
4 -- offering gifts of self, time, and resources.
If you are truly thankful, your life will show it.
THANKFULNESS OUGHT TO BE A MAJOR INGREDIENT IN ALL OUR RELATIONSHIPS.
“It is good to give thanks to Adonai, to sing praises to the Most-High. It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening,” {Psalm 92:1-2} Every day, we need to focus on our blessings and express our gratitude to YHVH for them. But thanks, should be on our lips for our friends and family for what they mean to us and what they do for us. We will never be able to say THANK YOU enough, to parents, friends, leaders, and especially to YHVH. When thanksgiving becomes an integral part of your life, you will find that your attitude toward life will change. You will become more positive, gracious, loving, and humble.
ONE OF THE FIRST MARKS OF REJECTING YHVH IS FORGETTING TO THANK HIM.
“Yes, they knew YHVH, but they wouldn’t worship him as YHVH or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what YHVH was like. The result was that their minds became dark and confused.” {Romans 1:21} How could intelligent people turn to idolatry? Idolatry begins when people reject what they know about YHVH. Instead of looking to him as the Creator and sustainer of life, they see themselves as the centre of the universe. They soon invent “gods” that are convenient projections of their own selfish plans and decrees. These gods may be wooden figures, but they may also be goals or things we pursue such as money, power, or comfort. They may even be misrepresentations of YHVH himself -- making an idol in our image, instead of the reverse. The common denominator is this: idolators worship the things YHVH or man, made, rather than YHVH himself. Isaiah there anything you feel you can’t live without? Isaiah there any priority greater than YHVH? Do you have a dream you would sacrifice everything to realize? Does YHVH take first place? Do you worship YHVH or idols of your own making?
THANKFULNESS OUGHT TO BE THE PRIME CHARACTERISTIC IN A BELIEVER’S LIFE.
“YHVH saved you by his special favour when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from YHVH. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.” {Ephesians 2:8-9} When someone gives you a gift, do you say, “That’s very nice -- now how much do I owe you?” No, the appropriate response to a gift is “Thank you.” Yet how often believers, even after they have been given the gift of salvation, or a place where you can find truth like TTN, feel obligated to try to work their way to YHVH or learn on their own. Because our salvation and even our faith are gifts, and because there are very few true social media sites where we can learn the truth from, we should respond with gratitude, praise, and joy.
THANKFULNESS CAN TAKE ON A VARIETY OF EFFECTIVE EXPRESSIONS.
We become believers through YHVH’s unmerited grace, not as the result of any effort, ability, intelligent choice, or act of service on our part. However, out of gratitude for this free gift, we will seek to help and serve others with kindness, love, and gentleness, such as was done on TTN. While no action or work we do can help us obtain salvation, YHVH’s intention is that our salvation will result in acts of service, even as was done on this social media site. We are not saved merely for our own benefit, but to serve the Moshiach and build up the church {Ephesians 4:12}.
Although I have also never showed my gratitude enough, I do want to take this opportunity to thank Rhy and his family, for the effort they have put in daily, and the sacrifices they have done, not only for us, but to keep YHVH Word alive. Thank you for TTN and most of all, I do thank my Elohiym allowing me to have been a part of an amazing site. I have learned a lot {one is never too old to learn} – and I have enjoyed my time being here. Also, thanks to everyone that contributed to this site – May the Most-High bless all of you and protect all of you. May Adonai smile on all of you and be gracious to all of you. May YHVH show all of you his favour and give all of you, his peace.

I would hold your head up on the matter. This has been the longest running Torah-based social networking site I've been apart of. I've seen at least 3 others rise and fall in just months. This is a testament to everything you put into the site.
As far as T&C changes, you won't be able to appease everyone. I'm sure there are some that left over things you might consider minor, let alone major issues that you point out.

It was a good shot, Rhy. A very noble attempt and effort.
For the polygamy I guess it cuts both ways. No, not really. That's just horny men looking to take advantage of women with low self esteem through scripture. It's disgusting, against the law, and has nothing to do with the faith once delivered.
Our congregation is growing with brand new people to this walk. They hear people talking about the benefits of polygamy in the 21st century and they will run back to the Sunday system faster than you can blink. So I can't recommend or even link to a place like that unless I want to talk about radioactive topics every Sabbath.
While I personally like places where we can mix it up, there's just no way I can direct new people to free for all places. In the past, we attended a Sukkot like this and all I ever preached on were the looney topics of the HRM. I was constantly defending the calendar, regular marriage, Sabbath from Friday sunset to Sunday sunset, correcting ridiculous doctrines stemming from pictograms, etc. The shame of it all is those types of doctrines are what drives the internet traffic. The Sabbath, the diet, the Holy Days, and how to keep Torah in the 21st century while following Yeshua is just too boring, I guess.
