I could say I started with my parents back in 1965. I was about 6-7 yrs old with WCG. It's been a learning process since then.

In the year 2000 I truly believe the seed was planted...it wasn't until 2015 when my eyes and ears were able to see/hear and my heart to understand...along with a HUGE amount of repentance

2012...but it was a gradual thing for me as well! First, remembering Shabbat, followed by Sukkot, all in 2012 as well as putting man's traditions behind me. The rest came about in 2013 and every day since!

Great poll idea. I grew up not observing Christmas but observing Thanks giving as our biggest day of the year. We never celebrated the birth of the messiah but rather spent time thanking God for his many blessings, and blessing one another with gifts and trying to remember to be thankful. Fast forward to 2014. We had left a home church a year before and were now attending a Mennonite church again. One of our friends from the Anabaptist home fellowship we had been with began to share about his keeping of shabbat and how their family enjoyed it. We thought they were nuts till 6 months later my parents said the scales were removed form their eyes around November 2014. So as I was not old enough to say what I was going to do and to keep the peace in the family I joined in, although I was not impressed and tried to covertly tell my parents they had fallen from grace. About two Shabbats in, my parents had made a pork roast and one of my brothers was feeling very bitter and asked why we were eating something God said was not to be eaten, On HIS HOLY DAY? My parents looked at eachother and asked why are we eating it anyways? this is not right. Now I thought I was really in a pickle. I then decided to take the route lawyers use as I love reading law, processes of law, the like things, and teachings by men like David Bercot, Charles Finney and other such men who had been or are lawyers/converted to preachers who say that for matters of faith we should look at it carefully and in the same way lawyers do; from the other's perspective, finding all of their weak points and combating those. I promptly got to working on it in every spare moment. I was so engrossed in it that my brothers thought I might have gone a bit mad. A month later and what were my findings? THERE WERE NO WEAK POINTS!. I have kept Torah since December 2014 although failing at times I have accepted it as truth and have strove to make full proof of the faith wich lies within me knowing that according to the Law and by my works will I be judged.
