TTN Forum activation

TTN has a Forum feature which was active during the first year after the launch. I then disabled it as the feature wasn't being actively used.

My thoughts are that it was due to the fact that the comments weren't being published in the News Feed so discussions weren't actively participated in. I have looked at integrating it with the Feed and want to know whether there is an interest to activate the Forum again.

Personally, I would hope that at least regular asked subjects are discussed so that we have a central repository with everyone's beliefs per subjects. Members can then read through the collection of thoughts to get an overview of what others believe.

Please place your vote below.

Activate the Forum as it will be useful
Leave the Forum disabled as I have an information overload
I am neutral as I can choose to use the Forum or not

OK, so it looks like the general feeling is that the Forum feature could be useful and people will use it when and where they seem fit.

I'll have a look at the current Forum posts and remove irrelevant ones and then activate the feature later this week.

Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket, and are accounted as the dust on the scales; behold, he takes up the coastlands like fine dust.
Isaiah 40:15 ESV

The nations of the earth are nothing, yet God expends so much energy and pain in their redemption.

This just made me think, how often do we read of people in the Bible hiding in the temple due to war?

Yes, if you have slain a person unwillingly then you can flee to the temple and lay your hands on the bronze horn on the altar which then allowed you to remain in the city until judgement is made or the the current priest dies.

This is part of Father's judicial system, but I can't recall any warriors ever hiding in the temple during war; especially not with their weapons ready to make battle...

Same goes for about any HVAC unit from the 1980s or 70s versus some that you see now from 2021. One time I went to a church to help Dad replace an old unit from 1973 in there that had continued running until 2023: if I’m not mistaken, that means it worked for half a century

An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous, but one whose way is straight is an abomination to the wicked.
Proverbs 29:27 ESV

The wicked hate and despise the righteous because the righteous expose their sin and provoke their consciences. It is natural and good to be disgusted by their behavior. Our task is to love them in spite of our disgust. (Love doesn't always mean being tolerant and nice.)
