The inclusion of an evolutionary process to creation by some denominations not only undermines Biblical authority it confuses believers. attempting to say the Bible is true but God could have created the earth before the Biblical timeline destroys the trust believers should have that what they read in the Bible is true. Removing the truth in the Bible allows room to remove the opening statement, “In the beginning God.”
