Daily Prayer

Blessed are You Almighty Elohim, Creator of Light. To You be the praise and glory for ever and ever. By the resurrection of Your Son, Yeshua our Moshiach to eternal life, You have destroyed the darkness of fear of death. Radiant life is ours through Him Who loves us, Yeshua, our Adonai and our Saviour King. Blessed are You Abba, Yeshua and Ruach Kodesh for You are One! We give thanks that You have called us to witness to Your resurrection and to Your presence. Help us Adonai Yeshua, to turn away from sin and to follow You. May Your people reveal Your glory to the world. We pray today for all who are persecuted for their faith in You, all who are struggling to make Your Name known in difficult areas. We pray for all who are full of doubt or fear, for those who are anxious, all whose lives are in danger through crime, violence or war and we pray for all who are locked away in prison or by painful memories, for all who are striving for new freedom and for hope in You. We give thanks for Your presence in our homes; that You are always with us. May all our families and friends know You as a Friend and Helper. Bless our families and loved-ones with Your abiding presence. We give thanks for the healing power of faith. We ask You to bless and guide all who heal. We pray for our doctors and surgeries and we ask that the ill and weary may know You as their present Help and Companion. We pray for all who are struggling at this time and who are financially under strain. Blessed are You, our Adonai and Saviour, for You have triumphed over darkness and death, opening the way for us to eternal life. Abba, we ask that You will forgive us our sins and teach us to forgive those who sin against us. We pray this in the Name of Your Son Yeshua Moshiach, amen.

Stones would be used for tomahawks and clubs until European traders arrived and traded metal to the tribes.

In the movie “Last of the Mohicans” a very unusual weapon was featured. The gun stock club.

It’s believed that the tribes imitated the new settlers when they saw them using their gun stocks as clubs in hand to hand combat.

A very fearsome looking weapon!

And is there any man who has betrothed a wife and has not taken her? Let him go back to his house, lest he die in the battle and another man take her.’
Deuteronomy 20:7

This verse assumes that the army of Israel includes no women. This assumption is carried through the entire Bible. Women were never expected to be in combat and only engaged as a last resort.

Three things that cement a man's claim to land: improving the land, building a family, planting and harvesting crops. These things are as much a part of the process of filling and subduing the land as evicting Canaanites.

A man can be exempted from war if he has recently planted a field, but has not yet harvested it for himself. Depending on the crop, this exemption could last as long as five years.

Before a battle, the priest is to tell the army four times not to fear. If any man continues to fear after that point, he is in a state of disobedience and anti-faith, and he must be sent home.

Healing Promise:
“And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind; that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of YHVH” (Romans 12:2)

Healing Prayer:
My mighty YHVH, I do not want to conform to this world. Therefore, I ask You to transform me, as I endeavour to renew my mind, so that I will be able to prove your good, acceptable and perfect will in my life. Through Your grace my Abba, I will keep my mind stayed on You and I will trust in You. As I do so, I will always experience Your perfect peace in my life. Thank You for Your peace. Always keep me from walking to according to my flesh Abba, for I realize that the weapons of the spiritual warfare are not carnal but they are mighty in You for the pulling down of strongholds. Realizing this, I will cast down all arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against knowing You and I will bring each and every thought into captivity to the obedience of Moshiach. Help me to do this effectively at all times Abba. I want to be always spiritually minded my Adonai and my YHVH, because I know that carnal-mindedness brings death, but spiritual-mindedness gives me life and peace. I want the mind of Moshiach to govern my life and my actions at all times. I choose to set my affection on things above, not of things of the earth. Help me always to think only on things that are true, honest, pure, just, lovely and of good report. Abba, help me to renew my mind by the washing of the water of Your Word. Thank You for giving me the Spirit of a sound mind Abba; a sound mind that is filled with power and love, not fear. Thank You for helping me to conquer my thought life and for helping me in every way. Because of Your help, I will never again be confounded. I have set my face like a flint and I know that I shall never be ashamed. In the wonderful Name of Yeshua I pray, amen.
