This isn’t about gamification—it’s about recognizing the members who make this community thrive. The ones who:
🔹 Post consistently (Content Champions)
🔹 Lift others with replies (Community Engagers)
🔹 Do both (Valued Contributors)
A concern about spam has been raised and I thank everyone for caring about the community’s quality.
We must always aim for Quality Over Quantity! Spam has no place here—it’s our job to remove it, badge or not.
But let’s not assume the worst. Most of us want to contribute meaningfully, and badges simply make that effort visible.
Why Metrics Matter 🤔
Imagine writing a book no one reads, or hosting a party no one attends. Without feedback, even the most passionate among us would lose motivation. Badges are like:
✅ View counts for posts (but for engagement)
✅ Poll results (but for your daily interactions)
✅ A mirror showing your own activity (or lack thereof)
Let's Try It, Then Judge
Scroll to your new dashboard - https://social.ttn.place/setting/my_badges - to see your activity summarized.
Notice on the News Feed who’s already earning badges—they’re likely the members you already respect.
The best communities grow when we measure what matters.
P.S. Hate spam? So do I. Report it, and we’ll act fast—badges or not.
Thought for Today: Friday July 25
The master craftsman knows that years of work, and suffering as an apprentice precede his being promoted to the master of his trade. The Bible teaches that sacrifice and discipline are necessary if we are to be faithful servants of the Moshiach. Paul wrote: “I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.” (1 Corinthians 9:27). Discipline your time; discipline your eyes; discipline your mind; discipline your body – all for the sake of the Moshiach

FRAGMENT CONTAINING TEKHELET DYE DISCOVERED NEAR DEAD SEA | #tassels
Wow!
It has been 3 years since I have been here. It wasn't working for me back then, but I like to try again and connect with others.
Although I have found a small congregation to keep the Shabbats and feasts with, it often feels lonely as my husband is still not with me on the Torah Road.
Anyone in a similar situation?
Now the name of Hebron formerly was Kiriath-arba. (Arba was the greatest man among the Anakim.) And the land had rest from war.
Joshua 14:15
So long as wicked men rule and occupy the land, it will have no rest from war. Only when it is occupied and worked by righteous men can the land truly rest.
