Is there a danger in becoming obsessive about the details of the instructions we received from our Creator? The answer is complicated. When we become more concerned with the minute details than the joy of obedience, then yes we risk missing the point of the instructions… which is to have peace and a joy filled heart. Psalm 119:35, “Direct me in the path of Your commandments, for there I find delight.”
