Hello! I wanted to share about the hard, but fruitful work our family has been doing on our farm.
We do not have a local recycling center with free mulch. So we have been working hard to make our own. In just a couple if weeks ( with lots of other things going on to keep us from constantly doing this), we have created a huge mound of beautiful mulch.
We did this by using a blower mulcher for small twigs. Leaves etc. If it was an area with lots of pine leaves, we then sifted it into the bin. We also used a small wood chipper for our bigger sticks and then mixed it together.
We have taken the stance of not wasting any part of our farm that can be used in another way. (I do realize this is probably normal here and just logical, but I feel the majority of Americans throw out and haul away a lot of useful material)

It was cheaper for us to buy this equipment, than to buy mulch, or pay someone to mulch for us. And then we can always use it when we need it.

It was hard work, as we just bought the place and have lots of neglected work to make up for. We have also been clearing a HUGE berry patch that was left to over run.

This process of mulching and putting it on our gardens is SO worth it to us as it will protect our crops, feed our crops and water our crops!

Stay with it! We like using old hay or straw that animals won't eat as well.

Hmmmm.... That's a good idea! Creating your own mulch. What all can you use? Only twigs & leaves? What about grass & weeds? I'm thinking the chickens or goats might eat them, too. What do y'all think?

But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.
2 Corinthians 4:7

It's impossible for the full power and glory of God to be contained in mortal flesh, mere "jars of clay". Whatever divine light shines through us into the world, by way of our actions and words, comes from God himself, not us. Nothing we do in our own power is any better than the good that pagans do. Almost everyone loves their children and friends and a few even love their enemies, but the power of YHWH shows the image of Yeshua to the world by strengthening us against persecution even as we return kindness to those who persecute us.

Here's another timely video from The Shepherdess. Main reason for sharing is that she talks about feed prices exploding and promotes a book on improving pastures and grazing.

Proverbs 11:7-11 says that political entities that promote God's standards of justice and righteousness will prosper, but those who discourage God's law and promote wickedness will suffer. God knows what's best for us. His commandments aren't arbitrary.

This true also for ministries and individuals. Once a person knows what Yah's Instructions say on a matter, they are accountable to walk in it. Denial or blind eye will not prevent the King of glory from bringing discipline and then judgment.

Due to a serious medical issue in my family I’ve fallen way behind with recording these. I’ll be catching up to the weekly parasha over the next month.

I am still pondering how to handle this one. I haven't cut my hair for several years now, because my husband thinks it's cute, and also for a covering. 1 Corinthians 11:15 Still, I sometimes wear a headscarf too. My main problem is not letting the baby play with it. I can't be tying the whole tichel type on again 10x/hour, so I usually wear just a headband.
