You are known: Experiencing true togetherness with Elohim (God)
Deep within you is a strong desire, a drive to know and be known.
You were created first to know Elohim and be known by Elohim and then after that, all your other relationships can find their proper place in life. The biggest reason millions — maybe you — are lonely today is that there is no togetherness in your life with Elohim. Togetherness and intimate companionship comes from spending quality time with Him.
This may sound like a foreign idea, but spending time with Elohim is literally the number one way to live a life that overflows into love, joy and peace.
A person who is living into togetherness with Elohim will experience love, a deep companionship and communion with the one person who can fill them up, even causing them to overflow!
You can take the first step to experiencing togetherness with Yeshua (this is his Hebrew-Aramaic name) (Jesus) right now.
As you’ve been reading, He has been waiting. Consider doing something real and practical with Him.
When we think of quality time with others, often we think of connecting through an activity, a heart-to-heart conversation, or a common experience. Perhaps you are in or can get into a physical space where you can do something to connect with Elohim in a tangible way, alone in silence.
Start by breathing deeply and slowly. Allow the distractions around you to fade into the background, and simply ask Him for His presence.
You can say something like, “Yeshua, make me aware of Your presence.”

Excerpt from: Seen. Known. Loved.: 5 Truths About God and Your Love Language.
Psalms 36: 1-12
And remember, the first step to living with meaning is living in union with our God — the source of meaning.

Transgression speaks to the wrong within his heart;
Fear of Elohim is not before his eyes.

For he flatters himself in his own eyes, To find his crookedness to be hated.
The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit;
He has ceased to be wise, to do good.
He plots wickedness on his bed;
He sets himself in a way that is not good;
He does not despise evil.

O יהוה, Your loving-commitment is in the heavens, And Your trustworthiness reaches to the clouds.
Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains;
Your right-rulings are a great deep;
O יהוה, You save man and beast.

How precious is Your loving-commitment, O Elohim!
And the sons of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.
They are filled from the fatness of Your house, And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures.
For with You is the fountain of life;
In Your light we see light.

Draw out Your loving-commitment to those who know You, And Your righteousness to the upright in heart.

Let not the foot of pride come against me, And the hand of the wrong drive me away.
There the workers of wickedness have fallen;
They have been overthrown And have been unable to rise.
Tehillim (Psalms) 36:1‭-‬12 TS2009

Even though we’re not commanded to keep Hanukkah, I celebrate in my home as another way to draw my family into Torah life. I so want them to keep Torah with me! So once again, I’m preparing for Hanukkah, trying to walk the line between keeping things fun and Torah focused, while not crossing over into “a Christmas of a different color.” Can anyone else relate?

Yes, it's a line I've walked for years. My kids are getting older now, so some of it is pared down. But there are traditions that we continue to enjoy. For instance, every year 1 night is set aside as 'personal miracle' night. We turn off the lights and gather around our wood stove and share our family and personal testimonials of witnessing the hand of Yah in our own lives. Like the retelling of old Biblical stories, younger generations need to know the power of Yah is not limited to pages in history. That's just one of the things we keep doing.

I am in the process of figuring it out too. Lots of prayer on it. I read a great article by Tom Bradford (Torah Class) and he did a great job of explaining that YHVH never commanded it so it is not a requirement but we did see Yeshua participate. Clearly He had no issue with it. I am flying to OK to celebrate with a friend this year, not sure if I will bring it into my home next year. Yah will lead.
