I have just spoken with Anne Elliott and she has graciously agreed to start a group for teenage children. We were thinking along the lines of art/music, but will discuss it more next week when they are back from their anniversary trip.

I the meantime, please put your name down in the comments if you are interested for your children to be involved so that you can be informed once the group is up.

Just a thought: Please remember that TTN is not only for adults and for the entire community. I would rather have my own children on here and know that they are in safe company than involved in the worldly social systems.

What's going on? It's so nice to have my adult children home today because of the #holiday weekend. And it's sunny and pretty out! And my husband and I have have been married for 28 years this coming weekend, so we might sneak out of town for a couple days and let those big kids be in charge. :blush:

Feminism

Lack of masculine roll models

Women unfit for marriage

Discord among believers

I think that men should be more compassionate and that will help us be aware of the issues we need to fix, then we need the courage like Caleb to say, "give me this mountain" so we can accomplish the things God has for us.

Super late to this poll but Feminism is rampant and now is supported by our justice system which makes it difficult for men to lead. Additionally lots of weaker men pander to women and shy away at the teaching of Patriarchy because they do not want women to over look them. That makes it difficult because women can find easy guys who will bend to their will. Lastly, men who do not want to submit to Yeshua cannot force their wives to submit to them. If a man is having problem exercising authority he is probably, unlike the Centurion who recognized Yeshua’s authority, unwilling to submit to Yahweh!

I think men, in general, can follow torah and walk with the Father while avoiding sin and overcoming challenges. I think the biggest thing facing torah men today is a lack of fellowship among like minded men. Men gain incredible experience and personal motivation thru fellowship with older and younger like minded men. There is an anemic level shortage of these kinds groups now.
