Minor pet peeve of mine, calling men who lived hundreds of years after #Yeshua "Church Fathers". By this standard Joe Biden is a founding father of #America. (insert involuntary gag here)

Not that I think there wasn't good people then, but I do think we should be more concerned with what Yeshua and the original disciples taught than folks who lived way afterward when things started going south in #Church leadership.

Great point David. There is one good thing about their writings. They refer to things that may give insights to matters hidden by the Greeks and Romans. For example, the NT written in Hebrew. Dr. Miles Jones is about to release a new book that will reveal this and other matters concerning the early believers before the takeover of Constantine.

Good point Brother. I would have to agree that it is also a very strong pet peeve of mine TOO. There is an individual who I know who keeps trying to rebuff the torah and say it is not applicable and his point is always, "What about the early Church fathers?" It annoys me.
