I make mine myself ("make for yourselves" ) and each time I use wrapping numbers that mean something to me at the time. The length of the ones I am wearing now are 12in, but I have worn shorter.

A young lady in our fellowship makes tzitziot and her patterns vary... I could specify, but choose to be surprised. .. started shorter, years ago, but the last five years or so, mine are 20"+/-... hang almost to my knee.

I've just started to put some on certain clothes, but do it completely differently. A blue thread on each edge of my shirt/top i.e. the neck, sleeves, and bottom hem.
So far I've incorporated it into the design for a knitted tunic and sewn it on for a couple other shirts. Thinking of starting to hand sew it onto each hem.

It varies. I wear longer ones when I'm just out and about. Shorter ones when I'm at work events. I've got some really long fancy ones that I didn't realize were so long when I bought them. Those are for high days.

I like how Yahusha put it. Mine are an unknown length. I typically use three colors of a natural hue; green,grey, white, red (only occasionally) brown, or any other earthy colors with a light (almost white blue) or a dark blue. The reason for earthy colors is so that if I go to the forest for any reason, I can blend in. Or I wear my kosovorotka (a Russian tunic) which has fancy embroidery around the edge of blue, red, yellow, and white.

I make my own. I don't have a specific length since that was not specified in scriptural...merely tradition. I keep to the 10-5-6-5 knots, but even that isn't specified either. It just talks of a blue cord wrapped on the corners of their robes. I believe it was a threads leftover from the weave when making their clothes. As we don't do that so much, we do the best with TzitTzits. Anway, i like to use colors besides white...but always use a blue thread to wrap.
