BIBLE VERSES ON YHVH's HOLINESS

EXODUS 15:11 & 13 -- Who else among the gods is like You, YHVH? Who is Glorious in Holiness like you -- so Awesome in Splendour, performing such wonders? With Unfailing Love You will lead this people whom You have ransomed. You will guide them in Your Strength to the place where Your Holiness dwells.

LEVITICUS 16:19 -- Then he must dip his finger into the blood and sprinkle it seven times over the altar. In this way, he will cleanse it from Israel's defilement and return it to its former Holiness.

NUMBERS 20:12 & 13 -- But YHVH said to Moses and Aaron: because you did not trust Me enough to demonstrate My Holiness to the people of Israel, you will not lead them into the land I am giving them! This place was known as the waters of Meribah, because it was where the people of Israel argued with YHVH, and where He demonstrated His Holiness among them.

NUMBERS 27:14 -- for you both rebelled against My Instructions in the wilderness of Zin. When the people of Israel rebelled, you failed to demonstrate My Holiness to them at the waters.

DEUTERONOMY 32:51 -- For both of you broke faith with Me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribah at Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin. You failed to demonstrate My Holiness to the people of Israel there.

NEHEMIAH 13:22 -- Then I commanded the Levites to purify themselves and to guard the gates in order to preserve the holiness of the Shabbat. Remember this good deed also, O Elohim! Have compassion on me according to Your Great and Unfailing Love.

PSALMS 29:2 -- Give honour to YHVH for the glory of His Name. Worship YHVH in the splendour of His Holiness.

PSALMS 60:6 -- YHVH has Promised this by His Holiness: -- I will divide up Shechem with joy. I will measure out the valley of Succoth.

PSALMS 89:35 -- I have sworn an oath to David, and in My Holiness, I cannot lie:

PSALMS 93:5 -- Your Royal Decrees cannot be changed. The Nature of Your Reign, O Adonai, is Holiness forever.

PSALMS 98:1 -- Sing a new song to YHVH, for He has done wonderful deeds. He has won a mighty victory by His Power and Holiness.

PSALMS 108:7 -- YHVH has promised this by His Holiness: I will divide up Shechem with joy. I will measure out the valley of Succoth.

PSALMS 134:2 -- Lift your hands in Holiness, and bless Adonai.

ISAIAH 5:16 -- But YHVH Almighty is Exalted by His Justice. The Holiness of YHVH is displayed by His Righteousness.

ISAIAH 29:23 -- For when they see their many children and material blessings, they will recognize the Holiness of the Holy One of Israel. They will stand in awe of the Elohim of Israel.

ISAIAH 35:8 -- And a main road will go through that once deserted land. It will be named the Highway of Holiness. Evil-hearted people will never travel on it. It will be only for those who walk in YHVH's ways; fools will never walk there.

EZEKIEL 20:41 -- When I bring you home from exile, you will be as pleasing to Me as an offering of perfumed incense. And I will display My Holiness in you as all the nations watch.

EZEKIEL 28:22 & 25 -- Give the people of Sidon this message from the Sovereign Adonai: I am your enemy, O Sidon, and I will reveal My glory by what happens to you. When I bring judgment against you and reveal My Holiness among you, everyone watching will know that I am YHVH Elohim. This is what the Sovereign Adonai says: The people of Israel will again live in their own land, the land I gave My servant Jacob. For I will gather them from the distant lands where I have scattered them. I will reveal to the nations of the world My Holiness among My people.

EZEKIEL 36:23 -- I will show how Holy My Great Name is -- the Name you dishonoured among the nations. And when I reveal My Holiness through you before their very eyes, says the Sovereign Adonai, then the nations will know that I am Elohim.

EZEKIEL 38:16 & 23 -- and you will cover the land like a cloud. This will happen in the distant future. I will bring you against My land as everyone watches, and My Holiness will be displayed by what happens to you. Then all the nations will know that I am YHVH Elohim. Thus will I show My Greatness and Holiness, and I will make Myself known to all the nations of the world. Then they will know that I am YHVH Elohim!

EZEKIEL 39:27 -- When I bring them home from the lands of their enemies, My Holiness will be displayed to the nations.

EZEKIEL 43:12 -- And this is the basic Law of the Temple: absolute Holiness! The entire top of the hill where the Temple is built is Holy. Yes, this is the primary Law of the Temple.

EZEKIEL 44:19 -- When they return to the outer courtyard where the people are, they must take off the clothes they wear while ministering to Me. They must leave them in the sacred rooms and put on other clothes so they do not harm the people by transmitting Holiness to them through this clothing.

EZEKIEL 46:20 -- He explained: This is where the priests will cook the meat from the guilt offerings and sin offerings and bake the flour from the grain offerings into bread. They will do it here to avoid carrying the sacrifices through the outer courtyard and harming the people by transmitting holiness to them.

AMOS 4:2 – Our Sovereign Adonai has sworn this by His Holiness: The time will come when you will be led away with hooks in your noses. Every last one of you will be dragged away like a fish on a hook!

LUKE 1:75 -- …in Holiness and Righteousness forever.

ROMANS 6:22 -- But now you are free from the Power of sin and have become slaves of YHVH. Now you do those things that lead to Holiness and result in Eternal Life.

1 CORINTHIANS 7:14 -- For the believer’s wife brings Holiness to her marriage, and the believer husband brings Holiness to his marriage. Otherwise, your children would not have a godly influence, but now they are set apart for Him.

1 THESSALONIANS 4:4 -- Then each of you will control your body and live in Holiness and Honour

1 TIMOTHY 2:15 -- But women will be saved through childbearing and by continuing to live in Faith, Love, Holiness and Modesty.

HEBREWS 12:10 -- For our earthly fathers disciplined us for a few years, doing the best they knew how. But YHVH's Discipline is always Right and Good for us because it means we will share in His Holiness.

REVELATION 22:11 -- Let the one who is doing wrong continue to do wrong; the one who is vile, continue to be vile; the one who is good, continue to do good; and the one who is Holy, continue in holiness.
