Praying Psalm 6
O Adonai, don’t rebuke us in Your anger or discipline us in Your rage. Have compassion on us Adonai, for we are weak. Heal us Adonai, for our bones are in agony. We are sick at heart. How long Adonai, until You restore us? Return Adonai and rescue us. Save us because of Your unfailing love. For the dead do not remember You. Who can praise You from the grave? We are worn out from sobbing. All night we flood our bed with weeping, drenching it with our tears. Our vision is blurred by grief; our eyes are worn out because of all our enemies. Go away, all you who do evil, for our Adonai has heard our weeping. Our Adonai has heard our pleas; our Adonai will answer our prayers. May all our enemies be disgraced and terrified. May they suddenly turn back in shame, amein.
