Looks familiar. I've done this a bit, though on the roof were I work, we use ISO insulation, a polyfiber, fiberglass board insulation. And yes , this is itchy.

I am reminded of when I was younger, we were building a house and putting insulation in the loft roof. I was so itchy and hated it so much, I told myself I would be sure to never get a job that used fiberglass insulation. Guess what? I have a job that uses fiberglass insulation.
