Today, we had a small group in Bulange village. A large part of the congregation was at the home of a neighbor whose daughter had been beaten to death by her husband. Whether the husband will be arrested, much less brought to justice, remains to be seen. This is much too common in Uganda and other African countries which consider women inferior and mere possessions, rather than precious Image Bearers of their Creator.
The spiritual darkness allows the Thief to "steal, kill, and destroy," as he has been doing since the Garden. The Lord is preparing Bulange village for a spiritual harvest. As we are studying the book of James, we read Ch. 1:18 in today's study: "[The Father] chose to give us birth through the Word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all He created." Our little Bulange congregation is a firstfruits of the harvest to come.
On June 16, we are doing an all-day outreach event in Bulange. We will be praying and preparing for that day and for the Kingdom's harvest. We want the Thief exposed, the darkness vanquished, and souls brought into the Light of Yeshua. Will you pray with us? And together, we shall see what the Lord YHVH does. "The Kingdom of Elohim is not a matter of talk, but of power." (1 Cor. 4:20).
