Actually Jewish and Jew are not the same thing. And also there was no Jews when the laws regarding the Shabbat were established. But yes the Shabbat is for Israelites (the nation of Israel) and Jews (the nation of Judah)
. Once any gentile converts The Most High said he becomes as a native born Israelite.
