Can you recommend te best way to record songs with guitar on a computer that will sound more professional then using a phone?

I assume you are talking about a guitar that doesn't have a mike. I recommend using a microphone (I use the little kind used for public speakers, pastors, and podcast creators. I have it small enough that I can clip it on the bottom of the sound hole and it stays out of the way. For recording, audacity is the best choice I have found yet. One just needs to know what settings to use.
