So, I know that there is no 'J' in the Hebrew language (hence 'Jesus' being a transliteration) but, I saw something recently which mentioned that there is also no 'V' (which would call into question the YHWH/YHVH confusion I sometimes see in comments) and wondered if anyone more knowledgeable could shed some light on this. I do not recall where I saw the claim but, believe it was a post on TTN.

You are right and you are unto something very important. Jc has nothing to do with the Hebrew messiah’s name. and as far as how to figure out the name of the Most High its actually pretty simple. Our congregation has requested that we go over a teaching about this, we have done a teaching about it but there are new people that want to learn this. This is actually one of the most important things for Hebrew Israelites to learn. Messiah himself stated that he taught the Israelite apostles the Father’s name. The Most High himself stated that we would no longer refer to him by the names of pagan deities including lord/baal and gawd/god Isiah 65:11. I would be happy send you a link to our live fellowship when we go over teaching.

I never promote other teachers because I have way of knowing all that they stand for. But the elder at MTOI did a teaching on the false messiah you should watch it when you get a chance. Its pretty basic but I think he did a good job.
