Today's Poem:

A HIGHER THRONE

There is a higher throne
Than this entire world has known
Where to faithful ones from ever tongue, will one day come

Before the Son we will stand
Made faultless through the Lamb
Our believing hearts will find the promised grace, when our Salvation comes

Hear heaven’s voices sing
Their thunderous anthem rings
Through the emerald courts and the sapphire skies, their praises will rise

There we will find our home
And live our lives before the throne
We will honour Him in perfect song that is where we belong

He will wipe each tear-stained eye
As will our thirst and hunger die
The Lamb become our Shepard King and we will reign with Him

All the glory, wisdom, power, strength, honour and thanks
To God, our King, who reigns on the high throne forever more
