Seeking insight: We recently met a family who observes Sabbath and The Feasts as being sunrise to sunrise instead of sundown to sundown. I'd never heard of this and, without offering my own bias, am wondering if there are others who think this way and why. Please provide scriptural reference.

Lev. 23. 32‘It is a Sabbath of rest to you, and you shall afflict your beings. On the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you observe your Sabbath.” all of the days of creation in the beginning in Genesis the MostHigh-referred to each day evening and morning was the first day and, second and so on. A lso this verse right here clearly states how we keep the Shabbat day , usually the people that start the day differently they try to argue that this statement here made by the most high himself it's only referring to a high Shabbat not all the Shabbat days, which of course is not accurate. not a new doctrine at all it's been around for a long time I've seen the teachings that people are following about this, not very convincing to me.

We do this, except for the ninth day as mentioned above. We didn't find either argument compelling and are just fine with not knowing for sure (but then we think things are to be studied over and over). We finally went with sunrise to sunrise because of living north.
It's one of the things I am most interested in learning when we are told everything.

However, I did not save any of the links from looking into it. Sorry
