PRAISING FOR A BREAKTHROUGH

If you have a Bible handy, turn to 2 Chronicles 20:20-24, I'll include the verse in the teaching as well. Verse 20 -- So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said: [Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in Adonai your YHVH, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.] Verse 21 -- And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to Adonai, and who should PRAISE the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: PRAISE Adonai, for His mercy endures forever.] Verse 22 – [Now when they began to sing and to PRAISE, Adonai set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.} Verse 23 – [For the people of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir to utterly kill and destroy them. And when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another.] Verse 24 -- So when Judah came to a place overlooking the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude; and there were their dead bodies, fallen on the earth. No one had escaped.]

Notice the word praise is here three times and there are three enemies mentioned. Now turn to John 3:8 and also John 4:23: John 3:8 – [The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.] John 4:23 – [But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.]

And finally, Micah 2:13 – [The one who breaks open will come up before them; They will break out, Pass through the gate, And go out by it; Their king will pass before them, With Adonai at their head.]

Let us put them together: In 2 Chronicles we have the word PRAISE occurring three times in the selected passage and there are three enemies mentioned in this same passage which are the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir. Upon further study of the original texts, we will find that each word for PRAISE is different in Hebrew, while in English we get the singular word [praise]. In John 3:8 & 4:23 we see that we, as Spirit filled believers, have the ability to go with the wind, meaning YHVH is not bound to tradition but revelation through His people as YHVH is Spirit and His people worship Him in Spirit and Truth. In His sovereignty did you know YHVH has given us weapons of PRAISE beyond the simple traditional hymns sung by man? Someone not of the Spirit of YHVH cannot understand this Truth, however if we go to the original Hebrew texts and look at 2 Chronicles 20:20-24 we will find three words in place of the word PRAISE. While again, all mean praise in English, in Hebrew each word has an entirely different meaning which turns them into weapons for breakthrough against an enemy. For every enemy there is a secret PRAISE! Let's briefly examine the enemies described in 2 Chronicles and the praise ascribed to each for defeat:

1 -- Moab:
The god of Moab was called Chemosh and he was a god of fire. To worship him meant breaking your heart and your family by typically sacrificing your children. This was specifically a demon that destroyed seed! The brokenness experienced by worshippers was truly devastating as it was their seed that was sacrificed. The Praise attributed by YHVH to defeat this is the exact opposite of brokenness, it is called HILAL which is where we get the word hilarious. This is the type of PRAISE that occurs when you win a million pounds or your sports team scores against it's arch rival. It's the hilarious yoke breaking praise.

2 -- Ammon:
The god of the Ammorites was called Molec. Molec means king, he had a calf's head and out stretched hands of brass as in a position to receive. Worshippers would put their sacrifice on the hands which would tilt back with the flick of a switch so the sacrifice would be consumed in the fire of the head and heat of the brass hands. Again, YHVH in His Sovereignty gave us the opposite PRAISE {YADAH] which is the lifting of holy hands unto Adonai. Complete surrender to the true King of Kings!

3 -- Mount Seir:
Baal worship was the religion of Mount Seir. Baal wanted nothing more than to replicate the worship of YHVH. The prophets of Baal wore many vestments and had all sorts of icons, and rituals, we have many Baal worshippers in the world today going under the name Christianity! Baal Worship is False Religion! The PRAISE we have for this enemy is [TAHILA], which is singing or singing in the Spirit. It is that little song you get while praying in tongues or the song you sing and don't know the words to! You are battling false religion!

Back to Micah 2:13: YHVH has given us these as tools for breakthrough! Verse 13: -- [The One Who breaks open will come up before them; They will break out, pass through the gate, and go out by it; their King will pass before them, with Adonai at their head.] The One who breaks open is Yeshua, we break out through our secret PRAISE weapon and pass through the gate. Our King, the true King passes before us with YHVH at the head. Turning to look behind we survey the wilderness we just passed through: Verse 24: -- [So when Judah came to a place overlooking the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude; and there were their dead bodies, fallen on the earth. No one had escaped.] No enemy can escape a believer that praises for breakthrough! Right now, wherever you are, give Adonai a mighty shout! Use the Hilarious PRAISE Adonai gave you, worship in Spirit!

Father in Yeshua Name we give you PRAISE for the breakthrough we are waiting for. Adonai, we look not at the circumstances, but we look to You as our King to break us through. In Yeshua’s Name. Amen.
