Thought for Today: Friday November 18:

Let us trust in YHVH and refuse to worry for He is our Strength and Song. Some of us may wake up and feel wobbly this morning, looking at a difficult day ahead and measuring them against our own strength. However, they are not todays or tomorrow’s tasks. So, leave those thoughts and concentrate on the present where we will find YHVH waiting for us. Since He is our Strength, He can empower us to handle each task as it comes. Because He is our Song, He can give us joy as we work alongside Him. Keep your focus on the present moment and on YHVH. Along all of His creatures, only us humans can anticipate future events. This ability is a blessing but it can become a curse whenever it is misused. If we use our magnificent minds to worry about the future, we cloak ourselves in dark unbelief. When the hope of heaven fill our thoughts, the Light of YHVH’s Presence envelops us. Though heaven is future, it is also present tense. As we walk in the Light with Him, we have one foot on earth and one foot in heaven.
