This is Paul Nison's wife from Torah Life Ministries. She wears a niqab (face covering), but she isn't Muslim. She is Hebrew Roots. I believe in modesty, but I think this is extreme. Thoughts?

Most of the times when people think this is extreme is because of the indoctrination of the Christian religion and their extreme discrimination against other religions. if you were familiar with the Hebrew scriptures you would know that Hebrew women used to wear a head cover as well as a veil. Some Hebrew women that have a close relationship with the Most High and have a heart after the Most High still practice these Hebrew practices today.

The command that a woman should wear a head covering is not in the Torah of the old testament and neither does Jesus teach that it is good nor bad for a woman to wear a head covering. Therefore, it seems that it is just a tradition of men rather than a commandment of God. Not all traditions are bad (such as the washing of hands before eating) but should not be treated as a commandment of God.

In the same way, the tradition that a man should not have anything on his head while praying or prophesying might not be a bad thing but what about the man who has his head covered for protection in extreme weather and wants to pray? Some places get really cold, like where I live, it can get to around -40. Not to mention the man who "prays without ceasing";1 Thessalonians 5:17
