And they came to Jerusalem. And he entered the temple and began to drive out those who sold and those who bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons. And he would not allow anyone to carry anything through the temple.

Selling at a profit, even selling objects intended for use at the Temple, isn't a sin. In fact, it was necessary for people who had traveled some distance to be able to make sacrifices. The problem was the location, method, and motive.

Yeshua stopped anyone carrying anything through the Temple. If this means all things that could be carried, then this would essentially halt all Temple activities. Even if it meant only the merchandise, he had everyone's attention--priest, Levite, and worshiper--for the words that followed.
