Ive noticed a huge stumbling block to fellowship on this platform. In order to have comments, you must first be accepted as a friend by the op. No one accepts friend requests! Only one has made any to me, either. I think that is a major reason why this is more of a online evangelist forum than a network. Most posts are by various ministers of online ministries. Very few are by PEOPLE. I hope the admins will reconsider this policy to make it more user friendly.

I do understand where you are coming from.
Over the past two years the policy on TTN was that everyone could comment on everyone else's posts, but I had to change this about a month ago. This is to ensure that people don't leave "drive by" comments on others' posts without knowing the person and their background.
There have been a number of complaints due to harsh comments, so I had to change the policy so that TTN is a platform for free speech, but still protecting people speaking out.
This is still a more "open" policy than on other social networks as the norm is that you don't see any posts on your timeline until you join a Group or make friends.
I highly encourage people to join Groups and make friends so that, like you say, TTN becomes a more inclusive social platform.
