I have been attending a Church of God group that is an offshoot of the late Herbert W. Armstrong's Worldwide Church of God. They recently told me that I am not eligible to participate in their Passover because I was not baptized with a group that kept the Feast Days. I disagree with this view. I was baptized in the Baptist Church by immersion many years ago before I learned the Torah truths. As far as I'm concerned, my baptism was my pledge to follow Yeshua and not denomination specific. I'll be keeping Passover Sedar with friends of mine outside the group.
What do the rest of you think?

It sounds like a very clicky group. I personally would be looking for another community...

Being a full-pledged member would have not have worked out anyway because I have other issues with their doctrines. For example, they teach (as well as the other Church of God groups from Herbert Armstrong) that the destiny of man is to become God. They say that because the word "Elohim" is plural, they believe that the Godhead is currently composed of the Father and Son, and that the righteous that are resurrected will also become part of the Godhead. I've always had a problem with this teaching because I don't think the Scriptures teach it.
There are not a lot of Torah believers in my area, so I sometimes have to put up with strange teachings. But I will definitely not join them.
