If your brother becomes poor and cannot maintain himself with you, you shall support him as though he were a stranger and a sojourner, and he shall live with you.
Leviticus 25:35

Treat your poor neighbors and relatives as honored guests in your home, but that doesn't mean you need to give him free room and board indefinitely. To paraphrase Paul, "If he won't work, neither should he eat." Don't despise or ignore him. Shelter him for awhile if you can, and, if possible, give him a job and teach him some marketable skills.
