I've been thinking of Daniel 7:25. I'm nowhere close to being a saint, and I'm exhausted. I can only imagine how they feel.

If I look at it in context then Saint = Holy = set apart for Father's purpose. Being set apart does not mean "holier than thou". Look at David who made a lot of mistakes, but was just as quick to ask Father for forgiveness.

I believe that maturity is measured by how quickly you ask forgiveness; whether it be your spouse, your children, friends or Father. The faster you ask forgiveness the more mature you are in your relationship with that person as you do not try to fight for your "right" to be right.

So, for me being a saint doesn't mean being 100% correct or obedient all the time. You can get things wrong and still be a saint, but then ask forgiveness as soon as you see your error.
