Sometimes peace requires war. Whoever said violence never solves anything hasn't been paying attention.

By publicly and violently enforcing God's standards of sexual purity, by preventing the corruption of Israel's children, #pinchas brought God's blessing of peace on his own children for generations. For his violence, #pinchas was rewarded with a covenant of peace.
