Do you want Comments to be open for all Members or only your Friends?
***Just remember that when you do publish a Post then you can choose that only your friends can see it or everyone.***

All members - You'll get more interaction on your posts.

Friend only - You won't get comments from people you don't know.

If only friends can comment, then if I could friend everyone on the site I would, because there is no one whose comment I don't want to see.

Even if it didn't increase interaction in general, if there was one person who wanted to comment, I would want to have friended him so he could.

This of course means I can't use friending to keep track of people or show association or any of the other things one would use friending for - it simply is "who do you not want to block by default", which is everybody.

The only issue I've had is that the friend's only method blocks comments in groups, too. So, if I am in a group with someone, I cannot comment on a group post of theirs unless we are friends.
