1 John 5 is associated with this week's #torah portion. John tells us that we only know God if we know His Son and that this proof is in keeping the commandments. We are told to guard ourselves from idols. Keeping Torah and abhorring idolatry is the same message given to Israel in Deuteronomy. Praise #yahweh that we have the further revelation of His Son, #yeshua the Messiah!
