No one knows the day and the hour...

Please vote below: Chronologically speaking, which was written first?

If we know the sequence of these events then we should have clarity of what was revealed to whom and when and the latter event would take precedence in our decision making.

My thinking is, in Matt 24 Yeshua was still on earth and Father had not revealed to Him the things to come. After His resurrection, Father did reveal it to Him; Rev 1:1. He then told it to the angel whom then told it to John.

If we then read Revelation and do get an understanding of a timeline then it is because Father revealed it to Yeshua whom in turn revealed it to the angel whom told John. Simples! ?

And yes, there is something to say about the other name for the Feast of Trumpets being "No one knows the day and the hour"...

What I am trying to find out is whether we are taught wrong about Matt 24:36 being our stake in the ground about knowing the date/time rather than Rev 1:1.

Or am I missing something? What are your thoughts on this?

Matt 24:36
Rev 1:1
