Sacrifices in the new earth???

My reading this morning took me to Jeremiah 33, which talks about the restored/returned Nation (verse 11) and Yeshua on the throne (verse 17). I take it that this is refering to the time starting at the millenial reign, but does it continue into the new earth?

So Thanksgiving Offerings are restored. I take it that these are the burnt offerings presented on the altar as Levites and Priests are restored for continual burnt sacrifices (verse 18), so it is a physical sacrifice. Not for sin, but for thanks as there is no more sin on the new earth. These sacrifices are described by Father as "a sweet aroma" in Exodus 29:18, the offerings that pleased Him included the burnt, grain, and peace offerings. These were termed "sweet aroma offerings" in Leviticus 1:9, 2:2, and 3:5, reflecting the offerer's deep devotion to Him.

Is my understanding correct about Jeremiah 33 that thanksgiving sacrifices will resume when Yeshua returns and continue forever?

I suspect that all if not most will continue. My current thinking is that sacrifices on earth is for the cleansing of “the flesh” as stated in Hebrews while Yeshua cleanses our “conscience”. In short Yeshua does the deep cleaning and the earthly sacrifices clean the flesh so that we can approach an earthly tabernacle with Yah’s presence.

While not for the New Earth specifically, we were kind of talking about this last Sabbath. My current understanding on how I read is forever isn't one way/linear. So, when God says something is forever, it means it always has been not just going forward.

We know from Genesis 1 that the Holy Days were in place before people were. The requirements around those Holy Days include sacrifices.

My thoughts are that if any Holy Days happened while in the Garden, Adam & Eve would have taken part of the instructions for those days. Say Passover happened, they would have eaten lamb.

There is, of course, no information one way or another on this subject. If you are one to subscribe to extra-Biblical books, such as the First Book of Adam and Eve, they paint an entirely different picture, one I feel that goes along with the currently worldly mindset that we are smarter than they were, which goes totally against my thoughts.

All that to say, if I was to continue on my line of thinking, then yes, there will be. Now, will they look different as it is no longer a fallen world (much like if there were sacrifices in the Garden, were they different) ? I don't have that answer. But, we do know the Tabernacle and everything in it is a mirror of what is in Heaven, and that includes the Altar and setup for the sacrifices.

What about there will be no more death and dying after the millennium Revelation 21:4?
I agree with Genesis 1institution of Moedim during creation week. But we don't have any evidence of death/sacrifice in the garden before God killed animals to create loincloths.
For instance I believe Cain and Abel were doing Yo Kippur/Atonement and not Shavuot/Pentecost as the reason best/first from the herd was accepted and not first/best from the ground.

I had a thought sort of on topic to this just now. Yeshua said "until heaven and earth pass away". So, that infers the Law WILL change after this heaven and earth pass. We already know from revelation we and all animals will be vegan/vegetarian again. If theres no one to consume a sacrifice as prescribed, why would the sacrifice continue/resume? There are other discussions going on that are related to this by "what happens to such and such" in the new jerusalem. Can we somehow get those under one roof here?

I read Ezekiel 40 - 48 and it dawned on me that this is possibly talking about the new temple.

I say this as in chapter 43 v7 Father says:

“Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the sons (descendants) of Israel forever. And the house of Israel will not again defile My holy name, neither they nor their kings, by their [idolatrous] prostitution and by the corpses and monuments of their kings in their graves,..."

This was not fulfilled in the second temple after Ezekiel nor the 3rd temple which the Macabees' restored around 400BC. Is my thinking correct that this is the new temple on the New Earth?

Or if it was fulfilled then Father's throne is still in the broken down temple location. This doesn't make sense. Also I do not believe "Israel will not again defile My holy name" is happening at present.

Chapter 47 also talks about a river running from the temple and giving life to the Dead Sea with fruit trees growing on both sides of the river that gives different fruit every month of the year. This reminds me of the "tree of life" spoken of in Revelation...

These chapters clearly speak of 1 x ram and 6 x lambs to be sacrificed every Shabbat and on New Moon days 1 x bull, 1 x ram and 6 x lambs. So if this is the new temple then blood sacrifices are brought back.

1. There has to be a moon to indicate each months so there are days. New Moon days are being brought back into our memory and we keep it like a Shabbat.

2. Fishermen will stand of the banks of the Dead Sea and there will be plentiful fish to catch. Why catch fish if you aren't going to eat it? So, we will be eating both fruit and fish

3. Then there are the 3 x large areas for boiling the sacrificial meat. Why boil it if it won't be eaten?

4. There are different classes of people as servants can inherit from a king and then has to give it back on a Jubilee year.)
