Mystery Babylon vs Tyre

I was reading Ezekiel 27 this morning and realized that the story sounded very familiar. Skipped over to Rev 17/18 and there the same story repeats itself with Mystery Babylon.

A seafront city, with a very profitable maritime industry being destroyed, never to be seen again...

Now here is what makes me think, I was raised in the church to believe that everything secular is "Mystery Babylon" and must be stayed far away from. Now in the Torah community many want to homestead specifically as they want to come out of "Mystery Babylon".

I am all for homesteading and lived on farms for 6 years which was the quiet in our lives that we needed to find Father and Torah again. I would give my front teeth to have a piece of land for myself so am totally for it.

What I am wonderin is should we react through fear of "living in Mystery Babylon" specifically when desciding where to live?

Both Tyre and Mystery Babylon are specific cities. Believers are called to come out of "her" just before the city is destroyed. So believers are warned ahead of time.

What this also means is that neither Rome, Washington DC, Moscow, etc. can be Mystery Babylon. NY City on the other hand... ? BUT Mystery Babylon is in the wilderness, so sorry not even NY City having the UN building in it can be Mystery Babylon.

Could the new Neom or better yet Oxagon become Mystery Babylon? Only time will tell.

Ive always thought mystery babylon was nyc because the ships watch, it is gone in one hour , which sounds like it is too sudden for a very large city so it is terrifying, and all the trade stops (wall street), wtc. LA just had a downtown fire that was intentionally set. It was so hot, they have to rebuild I-10. LA is the major port for chinese junk. I still think nyc is more feasible.

Well, i have seen less drama in the area around the house i am in, but i also avoid people and work long hours in another state (Idaho) and the witch and lesbian are still on the same street. The deputy next door is a mormon and his dog killed 4 of my chickens. The mystery babylon of christmas, Easter, halloween, and sunday worship is still in the city. i have not seen any messianic Bible Observant assemblies and have not been able to start one. 6 of 7 proohecied judgements have come to pass on the state of Washington and the 7th is one i do not want to be here for. There is land for gardens.

In idaho it looks better than Washington State and the people agree. However The conservative women drink in bars, and eat pork, and watch sports, and dress modestly. So lewiston Idaho might not be so perfect. The city has restrictions on animals and businesses, but you can live outside the city limits. Further into idaho there are roomers of bible observant messianic ministries. Israel is seen as feminist and liberal progressive by people, but perhaps it is not? My Hebrew instructor said that the majority of Israel is feminist and the women will not use the biblical hebrew word for husband that means master. naomi used that word.

Another topic is how to raise a daughter to follow the instructions in the Bible and how does a husband make his wife obey the Bible? i work with a service puppy at work and i have been jerking the leash, grabbing her muzzle, and using verbal commands to keep her on the path. i do not think that you can put a leash or collar on your wife or grab her muzzle. So I want to ask a father how he is able to make his daughter follow the bible? Especially if she is in a feminist environment.

Talking. Talking about Torah when you rise up and when you lay down, as you go through your daily routine. I raised my daughter in Torah since age 4. Shes pretty well grounded, although Ive had some concerns the past couple years. You can only shelter them for so long, then they must learn to battle evil on the streets everyday. Homeschooling is a big help!

i think mystery Babylon is muti faceted and may include satan and the day in which he convinced man to separate from God... its all about day one... come out of "day one" I think its all connected to the formula a 1000 is like a day and a day is like a 1000... come out of day 1.

you may be more and able to connect it better with this bible study.
