Christianity's view of tribulation is something that comes up suddenly, like an invasion. That's not how it works in the Bible. Rome occupying Judea at the time of Yeshua was tribulation that led up to the slaughter in AD70. The Jews mixing with the Greeks that led to the need for the Maccabean revolt was the beginning of tribulation. Solomon allowing the paganism to mix was the beginning of tribulation that led to the Babylonia captivity.
