Fine speech is not becoming to a fool; still less is false speech to a prince.

When a known fool pontificates, wiser people shake their heads and ignore him or else wonder what he's scheming. When a well-respected person says something foolish or dishonest, good people are sickened. It's a betrayal of their trust.
