A recipe to make garlic usable. It is called Goot. You must use freshly peeled garlic (no later than 10 minutes old) as it quickly looses potency. Use a 1/4 cup of any cooking oil (my favorite is coconut) and one clove of garlic freshly peeled. Warm the oil to a bath water temperature. dice the garlic clove and put in the oil. Let it sit for 2 minutes and no more than five. Strain out the chunks of garlic. The best way to tell if it has sat long enough is to taste test it and see if it is spicy. If it is spicy it will burn you. Add more oil to it till it is not spicy. When someone is sick, rub it on the soles of the feet and put socks on. Yes it stinks but it works. If you have an ear infection, rather than using antibiotics, use this and rub it in the soft spot under the ear. When you are done with it, you can cover it and place it in the fridge but do not let it sit for more than 2 days as it loses potency by then and is only usable as a garlic sauce.
